28.4.209 Match report from Dave Smith: Sheerness 3 Bromley Green 0
A very disappointing night, with a resounding 3-0 defeat and with Milton winning as well,we dropped a place to third from bottom. It now leaves us with two homes games this weekend,Cray on Saturday and Rusthall on Monday, followed by our last game on Saturday week away at Coney Hall.It is now a case of getting as many points as possible from these games to save our premier status.I just hope the boys can rally for one last push, some seem totally committed, while others seem not to care to much.We have three days rest and then Saturday, i can guarantee we will be 100% ready for Cray.
Back to the game itself. We started slowly with the home side bringing the game to us,we were unable to string much attacking play together and Sheerness took the lead in the 44min,when there striker finished well.1-0 at half time looked to a least to give us a chance. We did come more into the game in the second half and took the game to the home side, but as we pushed, without really creating anything,we were caught out to go 2-0 down,2 became 3 and the game was finished. Not much praise for many, but thanks to DH,Max,Sara,Kyle,Steve,Jamie,Martyn and Doris for the biggest away support of the season.

C.Howells not used.
MoM H.Slade battled all night and kept out of the arguing.
26.4.2009 Stansfeld 3 Bromley Green 0
On an awful surface, full of ruts, bumps and rock hard goalmouths, we looked a tired side and were comfortably beaten 3-0 by a useful Stansfeld side.
In fairness we did compete for the first 30 minutes and could have snatched a lead from either Matt Hadlum or Mark Howells, but when Stansfeld took the lead in the 35 min the game was as good as over. The second half saw us continue to labour and the home side attacked at will and added 2 further goals to see them home easily and without some good keeping from Craig Smith the score could have been more.
There is no let up for the players as we go to Sheerness for a real 6 pointer on Tuesday night, a game we will be going all out for a win, to ease our relegation fears, some of the lads are looking jaded after a hard fixture period, but only 4 games and 12 days of football left, so one big last push and I think we will get the points we need.
Team: C.Smith, L.Smith, M.Hadlum, C.Howells, L.Marshall, G.Mackett, H.Slade, M.Howells, R.Norman, A.Wood, C.Norman, Subs: K.Seni (C.Howells) , D.Cornell (M.Howells), J.Gardener (L.Marshall)
MoM: M.Hadlum played centre back, left back and right back due to injuries but gave everything in all positions.
