Disappointment for youngsters as Crusader are the latest to be unable to raise a team
Tonight’s (Tuesday) Division Two Sunday League game is off with Ashford Crusader unable to raise a team for the evening fixture scheduled for the Swan Ground. This follows Kennington’s inability to field a side last Tuesday (at least they had the excuse of Man Utd-v-Arsenal!) Whilst it has little impact on the final league placings, it is very disappointing for the Green school kids who are making their mark. None more so than Reece Murrell who said this afternoon “I hate it when games are called off. Not only that, I had paid my match sub in advance!” The reserves will now join the firsts for a drink for their final Premier match on Thursday evening with Bliby the visitors. Everyone is welcome and kick off is at 6.30pm.
