Thanks and hope to see you soon

BGvFoxVets Matt Coniam 20 Sep 2009

Matt Coniam looks shattered after ten minutes of the Vets game which ended in a 3-3 draw following a controversial Green third goal. No real room for Fox to complain though as they had to ‘borrow’ Mark Waters, Ian Mace and Phil Wedge from the home squad. Pick of the Green were defenders Mark Day and Harry Hills while Alvin Gigg was in awesome form up front.

Vice President Ian Holloway has sent the following message:

19 June 2009 G Mackett I HollowayA big thank you to all who helped make the Vets game a great success. To all the players who put themselves out to play I can only say thanks and hope you are not hurting too much! When we have the final total, I will put it on the website.  Once again cheers and pop down for a drink any match day or training night. Ian Holloway [pictured on presentation night with Macca (who was away on holiday this weekend)].

The game itself fittingly ended in a 3-3 draw but the result does not really matter. The club thanks Fox Sunday for their participation and our own Ian, Alvin, Max and Jill plus Scott the ref. Others helped so thanks to all of you also.

ps we won’t say too much about the result, apart from ‘we all know the real score!!’
