Colours of the original kit?

Derek West: keen to hear from all Green old boys

Can anyone out there help? Derek West our esteemed researcher is appealing for information on the colours of the original Bromley Green kit. We will be having a replica strip for the Saturday first team as soon as possible in the New Year to mark the 80th anniversary of the club but, whilst we have photos, they are naturally all in black and white! We don’t want to guess and common thought is that our original colours did not include green … or did they? There must be some ‘mature’ person out there who can solve Derek’s dilemma. Please email or ring Derek if you have any information on what colours we wore in the early years [or indeed any facts/tales from 1930-1973 that will help him to continue putting together a coherent record of our past]. In case any Green old boys are reading this, we include a picture of 1930/31 that may help jog the memory. Without wishing to cause any embarrassment, or make anyone feel uncomfortable, if any of the lads are still alive from those early days, please, please, get in touch with Derek as there are so many questions we still need answering. Derek can be contacted on 07799272926 or email him on dwest23@mac.com

1930/31 but what were the colours?
