Bromley Green-v-Woodstock preview by Dave Smith
On Saturday we entertain Woodstock Park at the Swan Ground, Woodstock are currently second in the league having only lost 2 games this season. We will be out for revenge after losing 2-1 at Woodstock in September in a bad tempered game.
This month will be the most vital of the season, as we have games against three of the top six in the league, if we can manage to come through these games, taking all the points on offer we will be strongly placed to challenge for the promotion places. This will be a tough ask, but I am confident the lads will rise to this challenge, we are training hard and playing well and the commitment is first class, all attributes that a good side needs.
The squad again remains the same, I always stress the importance of having a strong squad, the fifteen that are being used at the moment will all play a vital part as the season goes on, along with others who can stake their claim with good performances for our reserves. There is still a lot of football to play this season and no doubt there will be plenty of twists and turns along the way, we just need to go out each week and give it 100% and see where that takes us.
Let’s hope we get plenty of support this week as I think this will be a game to remember.
Squad: C.Smith, M.Hadlum, M.Doyle, R.Smith, T.Head, A.Mercer, R.Greenfield, T.Poyner, D.Cornell, J.Mifsud, L.Hayles, R.Strand, R.Fitzgerald, L.Milton, G.Mackett
Kick off time is now back to 2.45pm, so players to meet at 1.45pm at the ground
the meal sounds good
Some of our meetings are also quite tasty Derek…see you Saturday
now was that for 6 people at 7 or 7 people at 6?
Try not to sink to the level of the rest dear Craig!
