SPURS -v- VILLA at the ground following the home clash with Woodstock on Saturday … everybody welcome as usual. The first team kick off at 2.45pm as do the Reserves who make the short trip to take on Kennington once again. On Sunday, the first team welcome Hatcham in the Kent Sunday Premier Cup (10.30) but will be without frontrunner Joe Misfud who is unavailable. The much-postponed Kent Cup tie between Bliby and Artois United has been switched to Red Heathens ground. There is no game for the Green Reserves on Sunday. Player news: James Barham is expected to return to the action soon after a long injury absence. Please note the clubhouse is not open this Tuesday after training for one week only.

FOLKESTONE INVICTA SURVIVE – WITH 10 POINT DEDUCTION
Following a series of lengthy meetings today, Folkestone Invicta have emerged with a 10 point deduction but live to fight another day from a more stable position.
There seems to be a trend in football of when you’re down let’s kick them! This is really so unfair on Invicta supporters. Goes against the grain of the Bromley Green motto … which is … anybody out there know? Of course I do but anyway a free pint for the first person to email this site the correct answer. Thanks Derek, your little snippets are always good to keep us ticking over. DH
is it its better to be an hour early than a mintue late!
No but a very good try my dear Pole. And of course sound advice. I will get you a beer for that effort even though it is not the correct answer. DH
