Tuesday night’s match between the Sat 3rds and Mersham Reserves was again very useful for both clubs as different ideas were tried out in preparation for the new league campaign. The Green lads emerged 5-2 winners thanks to goals by Kieran Hawkins (2), Ewan Stanley (2) and Emmanuel Iwuni; with Jack Waring and Craig Mannering netting consolation scores for the visitors. Wednesday night action at the Swan Ground starts at 6.30pm with the Mersham first team providing the opposition for Trevor Strand and company.
