Tony Gawler [left] took the last Thursday night training session with another good turn out of seniors and youngsters mixing well and again it was most productive. As well as thanking Tony, Trev and Ian, I know the boys have loved having Rocky, Marc Collins, Matty Hadlum, Lee Milton, Ricky Milton, Steve Harris and others there every Thursday. Two players have recorded 100% attendance at pre-season training: Emmanuel Iwuni and Peter Missing … well done!
Rocky: big favourite with the kids
Decisions will need to be made as to where we train on Tuesdays in the near future once the season is under way. The MUGA should be ready but from past experience I won’t be holding my breath! And will it be big enough? These issues were to be discussed next Tuesday at the Forum but that has been put back due to our having two home games that night. If we hire somewhere again, will everyone chip in?
