Jason Thomas: netted the decider

The Green Sunday Reserves boys took advantage of the wind in the second period against visitors Albion Eagles this morning to turn a 2-1 deficit into a 4-3 win. Daryl Hagger, Ashley Webster, Tommy Lockett and Jason Thomas netted the Green goals in a game of two distinct halves in which the pub team looked the hungrier for the bulk of the opening half hour.

Aaron Neil: top class performance

A good workout for all concerned with the Green’s superior fitness finally settling the balance. Top performances from Tyrone Calveley and second half substitute Aaron Neil complemented the experience of Charlie Clark, Shaun Curry and Tom Poyner as the home team took control.
