The local Bank Holiday fixtures didn’t throw up any surprises and our friends from Hythe Town easily won 3-0 away to a Lordswood outfit that seems destined once again to struggle in the Kent League top section. A crowd of 125 watched as Brendon Cass gave the seasiders a half time advantage with further strikes from Craig Thompson and former Ashford Town lad Ronnie Dolan settling matters during the second period.
Dulwich Hamlet and Tunbridge Wells replay their FA Cup tie on Tuesday with Eastbourne Town and VCD Athletic having another go the following night. A massive game at Winches Field on Wednesday as Herne Bay play host to Deal Town with both sides amongst the title hopefuls.
