Saturday 27 February 2010: Chairman Stan gives me a lift to Dartford for the Reserves cup match. Not a very enjoyable experience but that’s football … and even the beer was awful!

21 February 2010: off to Appledore, crap weather but a Charity Trophy win and good atmosphere in the local pub
Saturday 20 February 2010: off to the Oast House to watch the Green against the University of Kent

Thursday 7 January 2010: planning for the 80th … lots of ideas to begin putting together/feedback from Terry on meetings re new development ground which is very encouraging

Sunday 3 January 2010: with our games off, much planning to do for tomorrow’s meetings…our 80th anniversary really starts from now and the hope is that all members play a role…more details on the website as the committee put things together
Saturday 2 January 2010: at last some football to watch at Cobdown which proved to be the only Green game on at the weekend

Sunday 20 December 2009: spend 11am-1pm at the ground…good to see Derek and Stuart West…Trent recalled his partying night with Bins (I know how Harry Redknapp feels … turn your back for five minutes and these youngsters are causing havoc to society). Matt calls in with Anne who fortunately has some video clippage of these irresponsible party-goers that might be useful for the website! Thanks again to Ian for opening up.

Tuesday 15 December 2009: Club Forum night at the ground; well attended with lots of frank discussion
Sunday 13 December 2009: Go to Kingswood for the Kent Premier Cup tie with Star United, piddling hard, game off, come back to watch Sunday Reserves defeat Wye Monarchs.
Saturday 12 December 2009: Watch reserves game with Borden Reserves. Needed a drink to get over that one lads! Even Derek stopped for two to numb the memory. Still, let’s go again next time versus Kennington Reserves.
Thursday 10 December 2009: Talks with Sunday first team manager/AndyDavis is keen to run a youth side for us next season … perhaps with Fred Ruby [but Fred doesn't know yet ... minor detail!]

Tuesday 1 December 2009: Talks with a number of managers/down the ground for club night/further confirmation from the Borough Council of the project that will soon see improved facilities at the ground
Monday 30 November 2009: Meeting with Trevor Strand who rejoins the club as No 2 to Dave Smith on Saturdays
Sunday 29 November 2009: games both off but plenty to plan; offer from a potential manager to follow up and I will meet hopefully tomorrow night
Saturday 28 November 2009: watching Saturday firsts against Tonbridge Invicta; meeting Will at ground for sponsorship deal handshake; talks with our historian Derek West (more about Derek and his work shortly)
Friday 27 November 2009: organising photoshoot for tomorrow with Paul Carter, also to make sure Will is ok to visit the ground

An official statement will be issued during the weekend on the outcome. Afternoon = Watching Saturday first team win away to Kennington. Evening = a meeting with the Sunday first team manager and Trent Thomas.
