Birthday greetings today to Cameron Lumsden and Billy Harkness

Seniors and Under 18s training tonight at 7pm sharp please

Training schedule for all groups is as per normal this week

Under 16s: can you ALL please attend training with Martyn Dalby on Wednesday 6pm – 7.30pm and come into the clubhouse afterwards and speak with me … thanks

There are still a few established senior and junior players that have not set up their Standing Order despite repeated requests and will sadly not be eligible for selection from this point. This is only fair on the vast majority who pay every month. Please attend to as a matter of urgency [if there are financial problems please talk to Dave Homewood tonight].

Two elbow breaks … get better soon lads
Two of our outstanding youngsters were unfortunate enough to sustain broken elbows at the weekend and are expected to be out for at least six weeks. We wish Ryan and Henry complete recoveries and let’s see you both back in action as soon as you are mended.

youthforum-engThe next Youth Forum gathering will be on Friday 25 September 2015 in the clubhouse at 7pm. Curry provided by Shane Cowley.

From the Welfare Officer to all managers of junior teams

I will be available to do DBS checks (what used to be called CRBs) next Tuesday and Wednesday (15th and 16th September) from 17:00 – 19:00 in the clubhouse.

Anybody needing a check should bring the following with them (if they have them):

An email address

Passport

Birth Certificate

Proof of change of name (if applicable – ie Marriage Certificate)

National Insurance number

Driving Licence

Bank statement (from the last three months)

Utility Bill (from the last three months)

The whole process of applying and me approving the application should take no more than 20 minutes.

Only those doing more than four hours of training sessions a month on a regular basis need a DBS check (so those just filling in on the odd occasion during the season do not need one).

Many thanks, Terry
