BGV U16s: message from Debby 16.11.2015. Training on Wednesdays is now 5.30pm at Pitchside.

Under 9s: Mondays 6pm at the North on the all-weather surface [no studs allowed]

The Long Weekend, that started with a great evening of fun, food and FIFA for the U12s on Friday, ended with a thrilling comeback by the Under 14s on Sunday afternoon. Sandwiched between was a mixture of performances [and, it has to be said, attitudes] provided by our teams ranging from promising to poor. Only our seniors managed to win, keeping us top of the table. For match summaries, please refer to the Match Reports 2015-16 tab.

Who would be a manager?

2015.11.15 4 Sean PhelanSpare a thought for EKYL Under 14s manager Sean Phelan! The league-appointed referee failed to appear so Sean [right] had to take the whistle himself until someone volunteered for the second half. After spending hours moving the goals and nets onto the adjoining pitch to keep the game on, he then sees his charges slump to a 3-0 deficit in the local derby with Kennington. But we ended on a high by fighting back to 3-3 thanks to scores from Ollie (2) and Player of the Match, Callum.

Well done Callum!
