Clubhouse open today from 4.30pm
Training today as per schedule for seniors and Under 14s
Under 10s message from Pat
The U10s last training session will be Wednesday and we have a game against Park Farm Colts so it’d be good to have all the U10s there. We will be back on the 10th of August ready for the new season.
Under 8s please note: from 1 August 2016 training will be as usual on Mondays and Wednesdays but at the new time of 6 – 7pm. The change is twofold with some parents finding it a rush to make a 5pm start; plus this will enable James to coach the squad. Under 7s will remain as now [5 – 6pm].
Under 7s and Under 13s
Recruitment: is going well for the U7s and U13s but we still have room for a few more players in both age groups. Well done to all the U13s who hand delivered flyers yesterday!
Belgium: one last check that you all have valid passports! Let’s have everyone on time for departure by 8.45am please!
Butlins May 2017: plenty of interest from the U8s, U10s, U11s, U13s and U14s. Full information sheets are printed in the clubhouse or email firstname.lastname@example.org and I will ping them to anyone interested. Can managers/admin please inform me within the next few weeks if the players/parents wish to participate in the ESF Tournament at Bognor. Some parents have suggested they might do some fund raising to help with costs … excellent – but please discuss with an Executive member prior to organising. Thank you. DH
Come on board!
After many years of service, Dave Andrews is stepping down from the Executive Committee and team management after the Belgium Tournament. Dave has performed several roles over the years since he joined as a young player and we offer him sincere thanks for all of his efforts. This means there is a vacancy on the Executive and we need some new faces to keep us oldies young and provide new ideas. Contact Stan Donald, Shane Cowley or Dave Homewood if you might be interested and require further details.
And lastly for now … please don’t anyone moan about the heat. We’ve waited long enough for a few days of real summer sun!
