1 September 2016: U14s manager Rob Finn reports from Dover

The U14s who battled well early doors but suffered a big defeat … not in picture is Jamie who was running late
The boys started off well against a strong Dover Rangers side last night and held them until 10 minutes before half time when two errors in the makeshift defence cost us 2 goals. From then on heads dropped and Dover ran out 12-0 winners .
Looking forward to the weekend
Fantastic weekend of football lies ahead at the club, culminating on Sunday evening with the England World Cup qualifier on the clubhouse TV. All welcome.
Saturday sees plenty of action (see the Events & Fixtures page) with manager Charlie Fletcher fielding a new-look U13s line-up against visitors Herne Bay (players please meet 9am in the clubhouse). The U11s welcome Ashford Courtside (meet 10am) while the U10s meet Pilgrims (meet 10am). Ian Mace takes his senior charges to nearby Sandyacres for the league clash with Ashford Dynamo (meet in the clubhouse by 1.45pm). Details of all the Green games are on the Events & Fixtures page).
On Sunday, the Bromley Green Valiants resume training; while the Sunday seniors entertain Fox Sunday. The provisional Green squad, to meet at 9am, is as follows. L Burton, C Lumsden, M Wedge, H Mansfield, L Loyza, L Dadd, C Gower, K Hooper, L Bryant, R Ford, J Haylock-Ashdown, T Moon, T Messenger, D Lord, J Twyman. On standby, in case of injuries, is long-serving Keiran Shrimpton who has signed to help out as and when he is home from university. Kick off is at 10.30am and all support is welcome.
