Seniors out of Kent Cup after 9-goal thriller at the Abbey School
Terrific show by the lads today but in the end we missed out 5-4 after leading 3-1 away to Faversham United. Tom Armstrong, Sokol Kristollari, James and Jordan netted for the Green but in all honesty we were not at our best. Ryan Prior claimed he was Player of the Match!

U8s Colts report from Thomas Habgood

Today was a lot better but some of the team could not be here … four in total so the 5 boys who came to this game THANK YOU! We were doing so well in 1st half but the boys ran and ran but 2nd half we could not score as they ran their socks off and the other team had subs and kept on swapping. Our passing was better but we still need to train on things. I will do MoM on Monday as some had to leave right away. We may have a new player Monday guys. I felt sorry & happy. Sad we conceded a number of goals and happy you all tried. Please boys let’s start to play as a team on Saturday not half. The final score again is not allowed to be published for this age group.
U8s report by Phil Castle
A summary from today’s U8s game away at Biddenden.
All the team played really well against Biddenden and the team kept on trying and smiling. Well done to Phoebe for stepping in goal for the first half and Lilly for stepping in goal for the second half. Bradley scored the first goal and Liam scored the second.
Man of the match went to Liam. Well done everyone great team effort.

U13s in 17-goalfest and bringing home the points
After going behind in the opening exchanges, the U13s ended up 12-5 victors at the Abbey School this morning in a game that was never boring! Goals from Ben Seager (5), Dominic Sloan (2), Lorenzo Baker (2), Sam Woch, Thomas Baker, Thomas Mason. Player of the Match to be announced, and a chat with parents, on Monday after training. Well done lads!

U15s report from Duncan
Great game today, really enjoyed it.
The better team won on the day as they took their chances and scored 3 goals.
We need a goal scorer to step up now.
Some heads dropped but overall every player did all they could.
I can go on about what we did wrong but I will leave that for Tuesday and try to work on it. Lots of outstanding play today from all over the pitch, not one weak link.
MOTM today for me was Liam who gave so much, kept his head, stayed focussed and played well. Best game I have seen him in, even better today than the opener all those years back against Biddenden!
Thanks mate, I really appreciate it.
Well done Colts, keep the belief, keep the positivity and keep enjoying your football.
Have a great weekend.

Report from U14s manager Rob Finn
Today we entertained grasshoppers
With only 12 players available due to injury and sickness I had to reshuffle the back four once again within 15 minutes we found ourselves 2-0 down from a couple of well taken goals the boys picked there selves up and started to play some lovely football but didn’t take the chances in front of goal five minutes before the break we pulled a goal back with a well worked goal with Brendan putting Gift through who slotted home .H-T 1-2 .I made a change at half time bringing Oliver on for George the boys started the second half strongly and was soon level with Dre pouncing on an error from the hoppers keeper and driving home from close range 2-2 the boys kept pressing for a third but Gift and ilja being denied by the keeper . With only five minutes remaining a mistake from Piotr at the back the hoppers striker pounced and slotted past Nathan that was to be the last goal of an entertaining match final score 2-3
MOTM today voted by the parents was Conan. Well done all it was an enjoyable game to watch.

U11s win 6-4
Goals from Aiden Branch (3), Clayton Myers (2) and Joe Clark earned Sid’s boys the points against local friends Park Farm at a busy Waterside this morning.
