[updated] More from a busy weekend with Skoda Caffyns

Skoda CaffynsWhat a hectic weekend … with its ups and downs and usual bag of mixed outcomes. Despite Friday night’s downpour we managed to stage all of our scheduled matches at Waterside, including the most enjoyable ADYL U10s Festival. Still loads of photos to upload – so please be patient – here are a few for now and thanks to those who contributed with both images and reports. Manic Monday tomorrow, with training on as usual and an Executive Meeting at 8pm; but here’s a quick look back at an eventful two days.

From Martin Wirt
3-3 today against Faversham today. Boys played well, having no subs was tough on them. Man of the match Reece Blyth.

Crazy goals as we let 4-2 lead slip

Difficult to analyse Sunday’s 7-5 defeat at Charing Heath to title rivals Ashstone Galacticos but the stark fact is we cannot continue to leak goals in such airy-fairy fashion. No point blaming anyone, and our plight was not helped with Reece Chapman and Mitchell not playing; but we have to pick ourselves up for next week’s visit of another highly-rated side, Aldington. Our goals came from Levii Loyza, Matt Wedge 2 (1 pen), Liam Dadd and Connor Gower.
