Training update with our sponsors Key Auto Trade – based in Dover Place

The only training tonight is for the U8s at the North School; while tomorrow (Wednesday) there IS training for the EKYL U15s with Sean and Carl. That’s it for training sessions for all groups until the New Year unless managers organise bespoke training during daylight hours [please let DH have details if you do].

Well done Jack!

Whilst our Saturday and Sunday senior sides rightly made the headlines with two stunning performances at the weekend, many good things are going on in our disability and youth sides. No matches until the New Year but we are still working hard behind the scenes, both in the playing and administrative areas, and optimism for 2017 is high.

Our U14s, down to a bare eleven players no doubt due to the early start and long journey, deserve praise for giving everything at Sevenoaks before losing in the dying stages. 2-1 to Weald Wolves but good spirit by the boys. Great to see clubman Jack Cridland voted Player of the Match (seen below receiving his BGFC voucher).

Colts make key new signing … welcome to Matt

matthew-headAlways keen to improve the squad, U15 Colts manager Duncan Randall is delighted with his latest acquisition Matt Head [pictured].

Able to play almost anywhere, Matt signed forms at the club on Monday night and will be available for the next match on 14 January 2017 against Marsh Youth.

Duncan, conscious that it won’t be long before many of the lads are looking towards representing the Green at senior level, also announced he is confident of another quality signing ‘in the very near future’.

Come and join us!

Christmas Drinks … everyone welcome on Friday, including adult Valiants and all admin/coaches. Clubhouse open from 7pm to 10pm.
