Birthday greetings today to Dean Ralph

Happy New Year everybody! Bring on 2017!

The advent of a new year brings with it fresh hopes and, in some cases, resolutions that are ready to be broken!

Formed in 1930, this club begins its 87th year in better condition than ever and well prepared to accept the challenges that lie ahead in 2017.

Domestic bits

  • Thanks to all those who gave up their time yesterday morning to help tidy up … special mention for James, Sid and Pete
  • Socks and shorts: as no manager came to swap or collect new socks or shorts as offered, they have been put back into the store; so one presumes they are not now needed after all
  • in addition to the garments previously listed, the following green jackets have been left lying around the clubhouse … please collect on Wednesday between 5pm and 7pm: 112 Luke Clark, 123 Tommy Habgood, 276 Cameron Spencer, 511 Bradley Williams
  • Training at Waterside and the North 3g resumes on Wednesday (not for BGV or EKYL U10s)
  • Training indoors at the North for U8s on Tuesday as normal (I have not been advised otherwise)
