U15/16 Colts summary on 9-0 defeat at leaders New Romney

Not much can be said really! Down to 10 men in the 2nd half due to injuries – not ideal against a strong team like New Romney – MOTM trophy had been left at home by last times winner so will do that Tuesday night (Tobias Terry was this weeks winner). A bad day all round but I’m certain that players learnt something. Cheers Dunk

Sunday slip-ups for seniors and U15s

A painful day for the Green in the two local games on Sunday with the EKYL U15s never really getting going against Park Farm (losing 4-0) and the seniors virtually out of the title race after throwing away a two-goal lead at Aldington to end up on the end of a 3-2 defeat. James Haylock-Ashdown and Ryan Ford had seemingly put us on the way to a vital win but three goals in a few minutes proved too much to claw back. Aldington used the small pitch to their advantage, and ‘wanted it more’ … that’s what hurts the most. Still, at least the ten regulars, plus Ashley kindly stepping in, were there in one state or another. At the moment, no game next Sunday; but if it changes I will let everyone know. DH.
