A tricky test away at The Rype today where the wind caused us havoc. Besides that we never really got going everything we do in training went straight out the window and played like they had never met each other. When we did get going in the 35th minute out of 40 we scored 2 goals. Well done Henry and Jake losing 4-2 yo little too late cheers Brad for stepping in goal. We’ll forget today and get ready for next Saturday come on u greeeeens Martyn.

Well done boys!

Some good football at cold and windy Wye today but we gave away stupid goals to squander a 3-1 lead. Goalscorers were  Tom,Emmet, Ben (2) with Dom chosen as Charlie’s Player of the Match for constantly trying to keep heads up as captain. Final score 5-4 to Wye. Charlie Fletcher.

Ilja is our U14s Player of the Match in a thrilling cup tie

Today we made the short trip to park farm which was going to be a tough game with a formation of 5-4-1 for the first time this season the boys started well and took the lead when PIOTR whipped in a cross and the keeper parried the ball over the line 0-1 the boys were putting some great moves together and should have doubled there lead from a corner but GIFT headed wide a mix up at the back cost us a goal 1-1 then five minutes later we found ourselves 2-1 behind against the run of play when the ball wasn’t cleared and there striker fired a low shot past Nathan
but the boys soon were back in the tie when PIOTR crossed once again and ilja slotted past the advancing keeper 2-2 and just before the break Brendan made it 2-3 with a well taken shot from conan’s pass HT 2-3 the lads begun the second half brightly and should have put the tie to bed but GIFT missed to great chances  in front of goal .soon park farm were level when George gave a free kick away just outside of the box  and to be honest it was well struck giving Nathan no chance 3-3 it was end to end stuff for the last 15 minutes with both teams going close to win it but in the last minute it was park farm  who clinched the win and progressed to the semi final .FT 4-3 MOTM today was ilja voted for by parents for some excellent defending. Unlucky boys but a great performance by all you done me and the club proud. Rob Finn.
