Thursday 11 May 2017 with Skoda Caffyns: Pilgrims Hospice appreciate hamper/U10s situation resolved

Happy birthday today to George Slater and Mark Smith!

Clubhouse open today from 5pm

For tonight’s training and fixtures please go to the Events & Fixtures page. Some parents/children turned up last night for the U8s training … at the risk of being repetitive, please READ THE WEBSITE … it’s not difficult!

Tonight the U8s and U8 Colts meet in an inter-club friendly … timings are on the Events & Fixtures page.

Under 14s tonight
U14s: training at 6pm and I wish to talk briefly to all players afterwards. You can’t all play Saturday at Hythe, so I will try and be fair and those that miss out will come into the reckoning next time. Cheers DH

Another gift for a deserving charity
Well done to Lisa, Michelle and Brian and all that contributed to the hamper that has been delivered to the Pilgrims Hospice. Hospice official Ian Ashton has contacted the club with thanks on behalf of the Hospice.

Julie of the Pilgrims Hospice with Freddie and the hamper … thanks to Lisa for organising this and those club members that donated items

Under 10s meeting – outcome

Staying – Big John

Thanks to the players, managers and parents that met with Shane and myself last night, with frank discussions culminating in very positive outcomes including John and Connor now committed to stay at the Green. Word also is that older brother Callum is coming back home … all in all a satisfying night’s work and John and Grant, with the help of Ian and Iril, can now spearhead an exciting new era for our 9, 10 and 11 year olds. DH

The kids had a great time!

James thoroughly enjoyed his ‘football’ tour at Bognor … sorry about the blurry picture!
