Shrimpton stays loyal as Gibbs strengthens his squad

Kieran Shrimpton

With the serious action about to begin, Sunday manager Gary Gibbs is delighted to have the versatile Kieran Shrimpton back with the club full time after his three years at university. Shrimpton comes straight into the squad for the tough opener with Fox Sunday but  there is bad news with Jamie Hurst out with a fracture to his left leg and Richard Floyd and Thomas Moon both suspended from last season’s transgressions. Also putting pen to paper last night were Josh Smith and the returning Leon Reed. Gibbs, determined to get his boyhood club back to the summit of local football, is also expected to make a further major signing in time for the visit of Fox.
