Training is ON tonight so please don’t use a drop of rain as an excuse!

Lovely weather here today!

Clubhouse now open

Training for the U6/7s and U13s tonight is on. The U6/7s start at 5.30pm and the U13s at 6pm. The league season is upon us now so let’s have a full turn-out please .

U8s – you have a friendly away tonight  (refer to Events & Fixtures page for timings and venue)

No training for the U15s this evening … but training for the whole squad is on Saturday 10-12

Time for some rain … and a mower!

Spare a thought for Grant and Brian! They spent hours marking the pitches out early yesterday morning in readiness for the evening game and important league matches at the weekend only for it to rain buckets. Then, to cap it all, the field was mown … looked a picture but the lines had almost disappeared!

Rest assured, our dedicated gents will have everything ready for Saturday/Sunday.

Last night’s inter-club friendly

Well done to Carl, Shane and the U16s who were too strong for the U15s last night and ran out easy winners, giving clear lessons on how to move off the ball and use both feet. For the U15s, there is much work to be done and several experiments simply didn’t work – we will make a start on Saturday towards getting some sort of shape to our line-up. A well deserved first half goal by the hard-working Kai was the consolation. Thanks to parents who helped, Neil for refereeing, and Kev for grabbing the lino flag again! Both teams start their league campaigns next weekend.

Talking of next weekend, Pat is already confirming kick off times and they can be found on the Events & Fixture page.
