Loyal youngsters are rewarded

Clubhouse opens on Thursday at 4.30pm

What price loyalty?

Anton and Leo with Executive member Leah-Ann last night

It is often said that there is no loyalty in football any more and, sometimes, I recognise where this sentiment comes from. However, when the crunch came during last season’s ill-fated U10s EKYL campaign, four lads remained loyal to their family club and they have been rewarded with medals. Last night Leo and Anton were praised by the Patron while Keiran Barns and Adam Zureiqi also have medals waiting to be presented. In the long run, you will be the winners as the grass is not greener elsewhere!

Training tonight for the U6/7s, U8s, U13s and U15s … please all be on time as the nights are drawing in! We will, of course, get the floodlights out when it is absolutely necessary but for now let’s use the light!

We are getting geared up for Saturday’s opening ADYL fixtures so – PLEASE parents – make sure you have all the information you need before you leave tonight. Especially the new U7s team. Thank you.

What a lovely hat James!

A friendly reminder that it is a condition of membership that ALL adult and junior players, mainstream and disability, must have submitted a BGFC Membership Form prior to training/playing. Anyone not on standing orders should not be taking part in any club activities. Any queries, please talk to D Homewood at the club. Thank you.
