Nap hand for Saturday seniors

Five without reply as seniors continue to improve
Good 5-0 win today against cc sports who up until today were unbeaten, our lads played really well playing good football and solid defending at the back with a clean sheet. Great pressing from our midfield putting their defence on the back foot and clinical finishing the green goals today came from Ryan prior 2 James Haylock 1 Jordan griffin 1 and Matt wedge 1. Man of the match today for me was Ryan Ford who is improving all the time good performance mate well done.
Best regards Ian

Under 7s report
We were visited today by a very strong High Halden Hornets side. Our team were under huge pressure from the start and Henry produced some great goal keeping but the opponents were far to strong for us to deal with. The team tried very hard and made some good challenges around the pitch and we did have some chances to score but we just could not get the ball in the back of the net.
We have a maximum of 10 players signed on and all 10 were at today’s game, being only a 5 a side game myself and Trevor tried to give every player a chance and there were a lot of changes through out the game!
Although the team lost I’m sure the players enjoyed it even if some were a little frustrated with not being able to play as much of the game as they would of liked too.
Player of the match was Henry for his first half goalkeeping.
I would like to thank All the parents for being patient and special thank you for those that helped put the goals down. As you know we have no permanent manager and we all have to pull together until one is found.
If any of the parents would like to take on the manager roll or help out please speak to Dave Homewood full training is given and there are always people around to give advice! Good effort lads
