Message to BGV from Dave Spencer: Bromley Green Valiants training has been called off tomorrow morning

Seniors go down 5-2 in Les Leckie Cup
Ian Mace declared himself ’embarrassed’ by his players lack of preparation and desire. A decent second half, after trailing 3-0 after twenty minutes, could not repair the early damage and goals by Martin Henry and Ryan Prior were only of consolation value. Byron Price declared himself our Player of the Match.

U12s win a thriller at Biddenden 3-2 Joe Hollamby (2) and Aiden Branch
Brilliant game today good come back from 2-1 down to win 3-2 with goals coming from Aidan 1 and 2 goals from joe to secure the three points great all round performance well done to whole team

U7s report from Trevor Strand
The U7s played away to a strong well organised TSS team today and once again put in a superb performance.
A very even first half with few chances for both sides but the team did well with solid defending from Callum and Ethan and Henry in goal dealt well with any shots on target.
Second half more chances created from both teams but once again Harvey in goal for the second half was excellent.
changes were made throughout the second period to give all players some game time and all the players can be proud of their efforts.
Cannot give the score but an excellent game from both teams was just edged by TSS.
POM was Stephen who worked hard today with his closing down and chasing back.
It is clear that those who attend training regularly are improving with the basic skills of the game and is proving worthwhile in matches.
Squad – Henry , Harvey , Callum , Freddy , Ben , Ethan , Ibrahim , Stephen.

U15s win 7-3 in Sevenoaks Kai (3). Kieron (2), Brendan and Jordan
Today we travelled to sevenoaks to meet weald wolves blue. We went with a depleted squad but came away with another good win. It started off a bit of touch and go on whether the match would actually be played because of the frozen ground. But the referee did eventually give the go ahead. We took the lead through  Kai, but we conceded a sloppy goal for them to equalise. But from then on in we dominated the rest of the game. Kai got his second followed by two goals from kieron and a goal from Brendan. 5 – 1 at half time. The second half we carried on attacking and Kai got his Hatrick. We then let them back in it and conceded  2 more goals, to give them hope but Jordan got our seventh. And with the last kick of the game Nathan saved a penalty with a fine save. A good performance on a difficult pitch. Report by Mark Fuller.

Man of the match was George
