[updated] Saturday into Sunday …

Birthday greetings on Sunday to Vice-President and former manager Dave Andrews!

Officer in charge on Sunday is Shane Cowley 07980786421

Good luck to the younger Bromley Green Valiants this morning at their tournament, the Sunday seniors who entertain Ashford United (10.30am) and the Under 16s who have an East Kent Youth League match at Homelands, also against Ashford United (2pm).

We have confirmation that a reserve side has been accepted into the Ashford & District Sunday League for next season. Priority will be given to lads that are coming through from the Under 16s but the door is open to new faces. Total commitment and reliability are required and anyone interested should turn up for training on Tuesday 1 May to start at 6.30pm. If you need further details, please contact Sid Hone or Dave Homewood.

Under 12s are lovin’ it … training … then McDonalds!

Former Bromley Green player Aaron Davis (centre) with the Green U12s contingent today … good luck to Aaron in the London Marathon!

Training … in this heat!

All good fun

Sometimes they listen!

Photo and report from Pat Penfold on the U7s at Kennington

Hi Dave it was a great sunny morning and the Under 7s were playing Kennington Under 7s we got off to a bad start but in the second half left me more than happy and the match went to a new lad called Mr H. So well done to all the team onwards and upwards little Green Army.

Just in from Fred Moon: we played well at Woodnesborough today and were unlucky to go down by a single goal. Next up is Tenterden away on Tuesday.

Ilja netted for the U15s in their 4-1 defeat at Hopes Grove with Lash our Player of the Match. A good effort by the U13s although they finally succumbed 5-2 to Deal Town at a baking Waterside. No details received.
