Under 16s put up great fight

Jack who scored our goal on Sunday afternoon

The boys gave it everything today, narrowly losing 2-1 to Ashford United. We had the bare 11 and in such hot conditions it was tough for the boys but to their credit they fought until the end. After going 2-0 down we pulled one back, a great finish from Jack. We pushed towards the end but just couldn’t find the equaliser. Our POM today was Jack who once he moved to the left was a constant threat and took his goal well. Well done boys, I couldn’t have asked for more. Carl Hamilton.
Sunday seniors pick up the points
At this stage of the season, manager Gary Gibbs has one aim and that is to keep picking up the points to close the gap on the leaders. His injury-stricken side recorded a 3-0 win at Waterside over Ashford United with scores by Kai Friday (2) and Joe Valler.
BGV U16s at PlayFootball today
Played 4 won 2 lost 2 with Kieron Smith grabbing four in one game. Waiting for the KDL website to be updated but we think overall the U16s are runners up in the league. Terrific well done all!

BGV U13s PoT Ruben

Charlie Rivett our BGV U11s PoT … catching you up Mickey Rivett!

U16s played well today and stayed positive throughout the morning but unfortunately weren’t able to defeat Maidstone and take the league title for this season. They finish the season a very creditable runners up in their division.
