Charlie and his new friend!
These really need completing now. Some teams haven’t even started. The awards will be made at our Presentation Day – but managers can spend the profit NOW! Players that have decided not to take part will not receive an award.
Latest result is for the U12s where Joe Hollamby won a three-man shoot-out after lads had tied in the original event.
We wish a full recovery for Vice President Bill Sheppard who has had a lengthy spell in hospital. Bill, a stalwart of local football for many years, is able to walk now with the aid of a stick but his cycling days are over. He has promised to come and watch a game soon and have a cuppa.
Green U13s net five … but leak sixteen!
It’s never boring with the Under 13s who found themselves on the wrong end of a 21 goalfest at Waterside last night. On target for the Green were Freddie (2), Bobby (pen), Ike and Josh with Keiran Black winning the Player of the Match voucher.
Deputy manager, Brian Edwards, pictured left in his new attire, drew both positives and negatives from what can only be described as an open game.
Meanwhile, Sid and the Under 12s rounded off a superb league campaign with a comprehensive defeat of visitors Charing. Joe Hollamby led the goal trail with Nicole Baker and Lewis Bower also catching the eye. PoM went to Brentley Hone. Photos and manager’s summary to follow.
Riley takes a dive!
Eight goals for the Under 12s as they rounded off a great season. On target were Joe Hollamby (3), Brentley Hone (2), Aidan Branch, Lewis Bower and Riley Kennedy
Well done to Les!
Thje Bromley Green Saturday seniors make the short trip down the A28 to meet Tenterden Town this evening [meet clubhouse 5.15pm] while training for all other groups is ON as per the schedule. If in doubt, please refer to the Events & Fixtures page.
Under 7s (Under 8s next season): parents/adults please come into the clubhouse and talk to me if you would like to become involved in running a second team. We have loads of players, and no doubt more to come; however, the club will only enter two teams if we have a manager, coach, admin person and the commitment of the parents. The club has to make a decision tonight – so please come in for a cuppa and chat if you want league football next season. I will explain the way the club operates and of course be open for any questions. Thank you Dave Homewood. firstname.lastname@example.org
