Birthday greetings today to Lashman!

Best wishes today to Martyn and Lisa who are getting married

Clubhouse open today from 4.30pm

Executive meeting 7.30pm sharp

Training is as per the Events & Fixtures page including BG Girls 5-6pm with James (all enquiries 07850541747). Training is on all week as listed.

U15s: Good news is that Jordan Osborne and Charlie Ward should have recovered from injuries and expect to return to training this week.

Reminder to all junior players: you must sign-in on arrival and sign-out on departure from the club to comply with Safeguarding rules.

Looking to Tuesday, seniors training will be with Josh Ahmad and Alex Hebbes with Sid Hone and Grant Turner unavailable due to work commitments. We are slowly but surely building and have been boosted by the return to action of centre back Harry Mansfield. Still room for dedicated players … just turn up by 6.30pm and take it from there.

Report from Rob Finn at Sandyacres

Today the boys put in a great performance at the TSS Tournament, reaching the semi final without losing a game or conceding any goals. 100% given by all who took part. I honestly thought we was on the way to the final again when Matteo seemed to have won the game when he slotted home but with literally the last seconds of the game the boys conceded from a corner making it 1-1 FT. So once again it went to a penalty shoot out. Thomas stepped up to take the first and missed with the keeper saving well. TSS then scored all three of their penalties although Matteo and Harrison converted it wasn’t enough but a big well done to all that took part and to Josh for getting PoTT today.

Another encouraging performance by the U10s

Tournament action continues next weekend with the U10s and U13s having a thrilling two days as they are both competing in the Pilgrims and Dover Rangers events. Our U11s and U12s are also in action. For Bobby Mayes [left] and the U13s, it is a 7am meet on Sunday to prepare for the trip down the M20. Meeting times and venue details are on the Events & Fixtures page.
