Well, not a Sunday to remember! The firsts suffering a rare league defeat, 4-3 at Sellindge, and the reserves fading after a promising start to go down 7-1 at Waterside against Ashford Spartans. Richard Floyd (2) and Connor Gower were on target at Swan Lane while veteran Leon Reed headed the seconds consolation.
Gary Gibbs will be desperate to have all his missing lads back next week (Trott, Burton, Moon, Shrimpton amongst those out this morning). Meanwhile, so much good football from the reserves but the physical side is obviously a problem. Credit to Sid Hone who had to stand in between the sticks again, pulling off one incredible stop from a free kick, and the youngsters for never giving up. Be patient lads, it will come. As always, a good performance from referee Barrie Wright.

Under 8s Colts
Under 8s Colts did well in their first league game away to Charing this morning, we certainly met our match! Good competitive side from Charing certainly kept the boys on their toes, all players played extremely well, some awesome saves from our new keeper Braydon, with the other lads making good use of space with some excellent passes being made. Fantastic goals from some of the players, with the last goal being scored with the final kick just before the whistle! A great performance from every single player who gave it their all throughout the whole match, well done again lads! Sorry but not allowed to publish score or scorers names!

Everyone done their jobs and stuck to them well. Sorry report deleted as not allowed to give score or scorers! Well played all and same again next week. Under 9s DVS report from Dean Mansfield
Saturday 8/9/18 at 09:00 was the start of Bromley Green U9 DVS first league game. On a packed field at home full of kids playing football we got off to a nervous start bit all over the place at times at the start but not one kid gave in all coming off at half time feeling tired as gave 100%. The second half was like a different team out there playing some great football and working as a team was a pleasure to watch. All kids enjoyed themselves great start to the season roll on next Saturday. Regards Dean
