Under 9s DVS report from Dean Mansfield

Congratulations Keane

This morning we travelled to New Romney for our league game. It was a very cold morning and i think it took the team about 10 minutes to defrost. We played as a team, great passing, great work rate all helping each other out and digging deep when we needed to. I think that was our best performance so far this season. It was hard to pick player of the match as the whole team played great but it went to Keane as he played in a new position for me today and OMG he done unbelievable.
One happy manager Bromley Green U9 DVS

Under 8 Colts

It was a cold morning in West Farleigh the team played well our strikers hit the bar 4 times I’d like to say a big thank you to Harvey for stepping up for being in goal for the first half and Jake for doing the second half it was a good team performance today and the player of the match goes to Ibrahim for listening to what the coaches told him to do and done his job perfectly. Pat

Under 11s summary

Today we welcomed Wye Whites to Waterside and, with only nine players available, it was going to be a tough game; but all the players got stuck in and played some good football and scored some great goals. Preston [above] received the PoTM today for some outstanding saves. This was voted for by the opposition manager – well done!
Goalscorers today were Sam, Thomas and a well taken penalty from Harrison Petken … well done all that took part in a very entertaining game. Rob

Under 14s

Two-nil up through Player of the Match Freddie Copham [left with Nicole Pepper] and looking comfortable, the Green somehow contrived to lose their home friendly with Wye 3-2 with the visitors grabbing all three goals at the start of the second period.

Manager’s summary to follow.

Under 10s Colts

Great game with Mersham with all the players happy with the result. Travis in goal and Phoebe surging forward were outstanding with Harley taking the Player of the Match accolade.

Birthday greetings today to Chris Watson and Jack Smith!
