U9 on 31.8.2018? Come to our coaching on Monday 6pm at Pitchside … have fun, learn a lot and make new friends

UPDATE: training at Knatchbull is off. Sorry but the hall is full of tables and chairs.

Thursday’s training schedule is on the Events & Fixtures page

Massive Under 9s expansion programme gains ground

The demand for new and bigger facilities grows with a long waiting list of children driving the club towards further expansion.

To cater for demand at the Under 9s age group, where we already have three sides, additional training will be laid on each Monday at Pitchside 6-7pm. Martyn and the U9s already use the 3G and new players are now welcome to train with Damion with a view to forming another team.

Any child interested is welcome to just turn up with appropriate footwear and shin pads [and wrap up warm] and join in to see if they enjoy the experience. No money needed until we know the child is enjoying being with us.

Weather watch …

Shane Cowley (07980786421) will oversee pitch inspections early on Saturdays and Sundays as we predict real winter will soon bite. A major factor is going to be car parking if the field is too wet. The outcome of all pitch inspections will be published on this website and Shane’s decision is final [not the referee’s as we have delegated power to make decisions]. A reminder that individual managers do not have the final say in deciding whether games are on or off as the Executive has a responsibility to the land owners and the condition of the pitches for the remainder of the season. Under no circumstances will very young children be permitted to play in conditions deemed dangerous. Thank you.
