Code of Conduct on the use of Social Networking Websites
The Football Association (“the FA”) has issued clarification to Participants relating to the use of social networking sites, including, but not limited to Twitter, Facebook and internet blogs.
Please note that ALL Participants should be aware that comments made on such social networking sites may be considered and seen as public comment, any comments which are deemed improper, bringing the game into disrepute, or are deemed as threatening, abusive, indecent and/or insulting may lead to disciplinary action by the Ashford & District Youth Football League (“ADYFL”) and the Kent County Football Association (“KCFA”).
Comments made by ALL Participants which are personal in nature or could be construed as offensive to one or many person(s), the use of foul language or to contain direct or indirect threats aimed at other participants or language which is deemed to infer unfair or inappropriate behaviour by another participant are likely to be considered improper and will be dealt with by the ADYFL and/or the KCFA.
Participants are required to act in the best interests of the game and all those involved with the game at all times. All Participants should be aware of the contents of this Code on Social Networking when using ALL social networking websites. Furthermore, Participants are reminded that postings on social networking sites which they believe to be visible to a limited number of selected people may still result in this posting ending up in the public domain and consequently, therefore, it is imperative that care should be exercised in relation to ALL of the contents to such postings by ALL participants.
Finally, the ADYFL and the KCFA would remind ALL Participants that social networking postings could also lead to civil proceedings being brought by affected parties towards the ADYFL and/or the individual responsible.

- All club members and associates are reminded that they must abide by the Ashford & District Youth Football League’s Code of Conduct on the use of Social Networking Websites at all times.
Under 14s good turn out on another miserable night
Thirteen out of a squad of seventeen attended training on Monday evening at Waterside. The player of the match from Saturday’s gutsy victory away to West Farleigh was Alfie … but all twelve were superb on the day to ensure a win that keeps us in touch with the leaders.
