Monday: Christmas Eve – no training or activities today
Birthday greetings today to Kelly Marie Colegate!
All revised youth fixtures are now on the Events & Fixtures page
Santa Claus has the right idea. Visit people only once a year.

Sponsored Penalty ‘Beat the Keeper’ sponsor forms for the younger youth squads will be printed this week and available by email and in the clubhouse from the weekend. To those going on trips, this can be a great boost with all profits going to the benefit of the respective teams. (Some of you have ‘bits’ left over from last time, so let’s put the money to good use!)
St George’s Park Tournament: a lot of interest but please remember I need a ‘yes’ or ‘no’ pretty rapidly. One definite so far is Rob and the Under 11s. Cheers DH
Birthday greetings Sunday to Josie Branch-Daws, Harvey Smith and Jack Blowers!

Super Saturday at the club – even though there were only a few games
Firstly thanks to Lisa Copham for making the Turkey Raffle a big success and also of course to all those who purchased tickets.
Shane Cowley is inviting us all round for dinner after his win! The weather, and with training away from here, has made ticket selling difficult but Lisa still managed to raise a good amount for funds. These are exciting times for all at the Green and every little helps … well done Lisa!
Well done to the U9s DVS, U9 Colts, U10 Colts and U11s today
The U11s, in terrific form at the moment, are up for St George’s Park on 28 July … is your youth side? Any manager that wants details needs to show an interest NOW please as places will be snapped up across the country. Dean is keen for the U9sDVS … I will seek out dates and get back to you. DH
For myself, a rare chance to watch the younger sides … and they were very impressive. The U9 Colts were in the game against visitors Kennington until near the end with Oliver and Frankie looking dangerous. Player of the match awards went to Daniel and Frankie with Bobbie Welsh-Close getting a special present for his wonderful performance between the sticks on his return to action. A superb squad effort boys and the future looks bright. Training at Waterside during the break … please watch this website for details.
Dean and the DVS U9s boys continued their fine form … sorry not allowed to give score or scorers. If you want extra training in daylight hours during the break, please let me know. Any report or photos anyone please?
Phoebe (2) and Henry netted for the U10 Colts who continue to please the management. We go into 2019 in the best frame of mind.

Bromley Green Under 11s report from Rob Finn
Today we welcomed Park Farm to Waterside and, considering the amount of rain, the pitch wasn’t too bad. The boys didn’t disappoint and played some lovely football and scored some good goals. it was a solid team performance and a great way to finish for the Christmas break. A big well done to our McvDonalds PoM, well deserved. Hope you all enjoy the Christmas break – from a very proud Green manager.
