Today we welcomed Valley View from Medway to Watetside – a team that we’d never played before and what a fantastic game it turned out to be with end to end stuff and both keepers pulling off a string of fine saves to deny the strikers. But there was some superb football on show and some great goals scored from both teams and I certainly will look forward to the return fixture away in the near future. Well done to Kieran B for getting POTM today and thanks to Martin and the boys from Valley View FC for an entertaining game .
Cheers Rob

Goals from Aiden, Ilja and Jordan (pen) earned the U16s a creditable 3-3 draw away to Hastings. This coming Saturday the boys entertain Headcorn with kick off at Waterside 11.30 am.
Screamers from Stuart Taylor and Lloyd Fuller secured a 2-0 away victory at Pitchside for the Sunday firsts while Brad Osbourne was the pick of the reserves who gained praise from their conquerors Aldington in the Sheber Cup.

U10s report from Matt Church
On a cold frosty morning we had to change to a larger pitch due to the normal pitch being frozen. It was always going to be a tough match against a strong Wye side especially as they had 5 subs which on the larger pitch was very handy. With no subs our players yet again gave everything and battled non-stop playing some good football. This team is still learning and still improving all the time and they never give up so proud of all of you.
Today’s squad: Oliver Max Harry Lilly Riley Ellis Harvey

Excellent work-out against K Sports for the U14s who once again had players missing. 2-1 to our visitors but well played everyone!

It was a cold morning in Headcorn but the U8 Colts played amazingly well in the conditions some great passes some stunning goals some great defending and some box to box football and Stephen was player of the match. From Pat Penfold.
