Tournament planning meeting next Monday

Can everyone please note that the initial Planning Meeting for this year’s annual BGFC Tournament will be on Monday at 7.15pm. All BG youth teams are entered, so please let’s have all team reps, managers and admins present as we need to be fully organised. Emails, messages, drones will be sent out before the weekend with an agenda but your ideas are welcome. As the longest-established small side tournament of its kind in the area, dating back to the early 70s, it is vital parents join in the family weekend to enable us to put on a good show for our guests. As always, everyone is welcome.

Thursday’s training is all as per the Events & Fixtures page

East Kent Youth League

It seems that the very young age groups play at 2pm on a Saturday not a Sunday as many of us thought. This is a blow to the U9DVS squad who were the first opt for football both days. Looks like they will need to wait one more season. If any of the teams up to and including U10s for next season fancy a different challenge with Saturday afternoon starts, please inform DH in the very near future. Can of course be a new team and the idea is not to interfere with our current ADYL commitments.

However, for our current U10s and upwards, the offer still remains for Sundays with 2pm kick offs in the EKYL . Need to start making decisions now please parents, managers, admin and of course players to get the applications in.

Further updates today but senior managers please note there is a massive amount owed in fines and they need settling this weekend please.
