Looking forward to the weekend with UpDown Scaffolding

Saturday open from 7.45am

Under 11s squad to visit Smarden on Saturday

Preston, Alfie, Charlie, Timmy, William, Sam, Harrison, Abdel, Ben, Josh, Daniel, Kieran B, Thomas, Matteo, Arilas

Under 10 and U11s: can we please finalise arrangements for St George’s on Saturday after your games. Tournament entries and hotels all booked … but we need to clarify transport. With effort from all players, the Sponsored Penalty Shoot-Out should virtually cover most of the costs. I still need consent forms and deposits from a couple of families. Thank you DH.

U9sDVS complete the second session of the Sponsored Pass on Saturday – still time to sponsor the lads!

Friday: clubhouse open from approx 11am to mid-afternoon

Get your blue tokens at Tenterden Tesco’s

A plea goes out to all our members to shop at Tenterden Tesco’s for the next month and make sure you get your blue tokens and vote for the Bromley Green Valiants. The Bags of Help scheme, which starts today and runs throughout March, is designed to help deserving causes. Remember, we are the only club for miles  around that embraces disability football for children and adults, male and female. Any grant money received will be most welcome as we continue to expand our provision … and don’t forget that every little helps.

Busy weekend ahead

Still time to sponsor the lads as the U9DVS players complete the second session of their marathon passing challenge on Saturday after the match with West Farleigh who have agreed to switch their home fixture to Waterside.

The Under 16s are off to Egerton, who have been a bit of a bogey side in recent seasons; while the Under 14s have their final competitive fixture of an inconsistent but mostly enjoyable campaign away to Park Farm Rangers. The side should finish in the top four so steady improvement is evident.

A change of day for the Sunday Reserves who welcome Lydd Town Thirds on Saturday for a friendly which kicks off at 2.30pm. Too many blank Sundays without action, so we have  slotted in what should be an entertaining affair against  Ian Dimmock’s side. Roger Corkhill has stepped in the referee.
