Dozen for Sid’s boys but respect to Pilgrims
Firstly, a word for Kingsnorth Pilgrims, who took a trouncing this morning but fought to the end and at times played some excellent football. In the end, the Sunday Reserves ran out 12-1 victors with goals by Andrew Trott, Corie Griffiths 3, Bradley Osborne 3, Matt Burdon 2, Lenny Russell, Conor Little and Jack Hollamby. Many thanks to Damion Truelove who stood in at the last minute when the official referee failed to appear. The boys have one game left, away to Ashford United, and the squad is already looking forward to making a real challenge for honours next season.
One game at Waterside Sunday morning as the Senior Reserves welcome Kingsnorth Pilgrims (10.30am). Training as normal for the BGV Juniors and Seniors.

Loyal clubman Cridland on target as Under 16s end on a high at Hopes Grove

Great end to the league campaign for the Under 16s who came away from High Halden with a 4-1 victory. Alfie, Jordan, Jack and Nelson found the target with Jack Cridland taking the Player of the Match accolade. A fitting end to Mark Fuller’s time as manager and great to see loyal clubman Jack Cridland on the scoresheet.
Sponsored Penalties great hit
Well done to those parents and players who made a real effort to raise money for the forthcoming St George’s trips for the Under 10s and Under 11s. Still several to complete and bring in their money and forms … we can arrange new dates – no problem. Also, big shout for Phil Castle and Andrew Trott who ‘volunteered’ to get wet with the sponge throwing! More photos to follow on our official Bromley Green FC facebook page.

Under 10s and U11s remember to bring your sponsor form and money into the clubhouse on Saturday morning BEFORE you take the spot kicks. Every pound raised, is a pound less parents have to find for our trips to St George’s!

Action away PFR Kris takes the throw

Tonight we made the short trip to kingsnorth to face park farm on a wet and windy evening the boys didn’t disappoint with attack after attack and Matteo was taken down in the box we was awarded a penalty which Harrison calmly converted 0-1 and 15 minutes later it was 0-2 when we was awarded another penalty up stepped Harrison to cooly slot home .The back 3 of Daniel Harrison and Alfie and debutant Charlie in goal handled everything park farm through at them and the midfield of Sam, Thomas, Preston, Kavalli and Kris all playing well the striker Matteo put in a great performance HT 0-2 second half started well and Matteo got on the scoresheet firing a fierce shot into the net 0-3 and 5 minutes later he got his second calmly rounding the keeper and slotting home 0-4 the boys started to tire and conceded 2 sloppy goals 2-4 but we hadn’t finished and Daniel got a goal making the final score 2-5 well done all that took part and a big well done to Harrison for getting PoTM for a solid centre back performance and two well-taken penalties.
