Visits to the Palace and Camber

Another exciting few days beckon for many of our players with the U9s and U9DVS squads off to Selhurst Park for the Crystal Palace Tournament. Martyn and company take the stage on Sunday with Dean and DVS boys playing on Bank Holiday Monday (playing schedule is on the Events & Fixtures page). Have fun everyone and please ping me some photos. DH

Meanwhile, our U14s have a two-day experience at the Camber Championship. I suggest you leave the clubhouse promptly by 11.45am as parking can be quite a time-consuming exercise. List of opponents is on the Events & Fixtures page. Enjoy!

Under 11s Saturday and Sunday

Back on the domestic front, the Under 11s (Rob) go to Appledore for a friendly on Saturday. Please meet in the clubhouse 9.15am. Details on the Events & Fixtures page. Squad to travel is: Charlie Ward, Alfie, Preston, Harrison, Sam, Daniel, Thomas, Matteo, Kris, Kavalli.

On Sunday, Timmy takes a side to play Iwade Herons, meeting at the club by 8.45am.

Spare a thought for William Spiers who is out for a FURTHER six weeks with his arm break. Really gutted for William who is prepared to work hard on his game and of course now misses our own tournament next weekend. Comeback is pencilled in for Sunday 7 July when he will be included in the EKYL squad that takes part in the Bredhurst tournament.

Fantastic response to prizes appeal

Thanks to all those who have donated prizes for the Tombola next weekend. Michelle has a brilliant list with two sections (one for family/children prizes and one for drinks containing alcohol).
