The long weekend!
Awards Day, plenty of weekend tournament action topped off by a fantastic birthday party for young Timmy made for a really special weekend and I can only offer thanks to everybody right up until late last night when we finally locked up. Thanks are extended to Brian and Michelle who raised another £178 with their raffle – well done! There are still some prizes to be claimed from the clubhouse (see list below). A mention too for our photographer, Courtney – thank you! And a visit from the one and only ‘Mani’ – once a Green boy, always a Green boy. Below is a random selection of a few images from a terrific Sunday.

Tournament report – from Rob
Once again the boys put on a great display at The Kennington tournament on losing once in the group stages against a strong Kennington side there was some cracking goals to from Matteo and a superb strike from Harrison from just inside the halfway line but the quarter finals see us come up against a strong and well organised Rising Stars side and being on the wrong end of a 2-0 score line .well done all for taking part and to Kris for getting Player of the tournament. Cheers Rob

Tournament report from Timmy
First up Park Farm
The boys started well coming close with efforts from Kieran but we had to settle for a 0,0 draw Arilas great save at the end and great defending from Josh
Next up Grasshoppers A
We again defended well and again Arilas was great. Could have bagged a couple through Kieran and Aidan but in the end we narrowly lost.
The red game was great entertaining game end to end again we didn’t take our chances with so many shots on goal Sam was in great form in midfield but then Kennington caught us on the break great game.
Final game Wittersham
We really went for this one with hope to go into the semis
Goals came quick Aidan notching 1; we then put Ben up front and it soon paid off setting up Charlie to make it 2-0 then Ben scored straight after before Aidan got his 2nd
Well done to all great defending, winning the ball in the middle and some good finishing and great goalkeeping from Arilas. Timmy
