Once upon a time … Sturry and Bromley Green were arch rivals in the old Kent Amateur League (the Green in fact the last champions of the top flight before being founder members of the Kent County League). The sides will evoke memories when they meet in the preliminary round of this season’s Weald of Kent Charity Cup. The victors will go on to another tough tie away to Tenterden Town.
