Match report from Bromley Green global, Bromley Green Global arrived at league opposition Charing for their final warmup game in high spirits. Bromley green took a full strength squad with Tyler Godden, Tyler Quarrie, Edwin Cotton, Daniel Vincent, Leo Lum, Kuba Chlebowski & Daniel Ellis. We started slowly off the mark with the home side physically dominating our players with direct balls and firm tackles that took our players and myself by surprise, this was going to be a very different learning experience. Tyler Godden doing well in the early minutes with a couple of saves was finally undone with a deep cross to the back post evaded everyone for a tap in to make it 1-0 to the hosts. Bromley again struggling to contain Charing, finally started to work out a way of breaking down the opposition with a couple of chances falling to Kuba but couldn’t get the equaliser. A sucker punch 2nd came 15mins into the first half with another well worked move. BG never let their heads drop and continued to try to play football as the physicality of the opposition was taking its toll. 2-0 at half time. BG rallies 2nd half with a number of chances falling for Leo, Kuba and Daniel Vincent all raking on shots but couldn’t find a way past the Charing keeper.
3rd and final goal came when a clearance fell to a Charing player who lobbed a nice finish over the stranded Godden, Green continued to try and get a goal back with a Daniel Vincent free kick being finger tipped onto the bar for Tyler Quarrie to narrowly miss the sliding follow up off the rebound, another Vincent free kick flashed past the near post as the game ended 3-0 Charing.
Bromley Green Global worked their socks off and at no point gave up. The physical approach of the opposition was a different experience and one that the players will benefit and only a small number of flash points as players were feeling they were not getting protected by the referee.
Overall I’m pleased with the performances and feel we’re in good shape going into first ever league season as a team. Player of the match Edwin Cotton. First game of the season away to Headcorn on Saturday. Alex
Today we welcomed Appledore to waterside and what a cracking game it was the team started slowly and found themselves 0-3 down at HT from some minor errors but second half it was a different with some brilliant football and goals from Alfie Daniel and 2 from Sam put us in front 4-3 we could of added to that when we was awarded a penalty but Kavalli’s spot kick was saved by the opposition keeper and a few more chances went begging but Appledore got a well deserved equaliser 4-4 which was to be the final score well done to both teams for an exciting game next up is Folkestone on Tuesday evening before we start our league campaign away to Kennington.

So I wanted to update you on the game away today.
Charing were a good organised little team who had a lot of heart and a cracking keeper.
We set up on the high press and to force the mistakes and from the first minute it was working.
The little Dream Team started moving them around and found the gaps appearing at half time we lead 4 2
In second half we controlled the tempo kept our shape with the game finishing 5 3.
Best game to date with all players putting a great shift in and listening to me and Damo.
Goal scorers Bubba 3, kai 2, but the important part was the team effort which was superb day.
Tony and Damo very happy coaches.
