Tonight – Planning Meeting 6pm

All teams up to and including U11s to be represented please (this does NOT mean the manager needs to attend)

Community Carol Service this year is in the Swan Centre main hall at 2pm on Sunday 1 December. Every year BGFC attends and children give short readings. Who would like to join Charlotte Stubbs and have fun at a non-denominational service?

Monday 16 December 2019

Staff meal at the Italian, Bank Street 8pm … gather in Wetherspoons earlier. All officers, committee, managers, coaches, admins, helpers are welcome (we have had a big uptake this year … please confirm with the organiser Shane Cowley if you haven’t already done so)

Go away rain!

Once again, we enter the weekend with the main topic of discussion being the elements as heavy showers are predicted during today and Saturday with the obvious threat of ruining what promises to be a football fest

Inspections will take place early mornings and evenings and the club’s decision, which will be published here first, is final

One bonus is that we have the use of the Swan Centre car park by kind permission of our partners at Waterside … so please park sensibly

Well done to all those who trained Thursday evening – sadly all was off at Waterside; but we go again next week with thankfully the school halls available again after all the exams

On Saturday, our seniors make the short trip to The Ridge to meet South Willesborough with a 1.30pm kick off in the Ashford Charity Trophy. Meanwhile at Waterside, Sid and the BG Vets welcome Lydd & Marsh Vets on Saturday afternoon.

Sunday sees a real cup test for the U18s who are away to Deal Town Rangers while the U12s are in EKYL Cup action, away yet again, against Thanet United Colts. The BG Girls are in top form and will be looking to continue their fantastic run when going to Ex-Blues (12.15pm).

For our Sunday Reserves, still cautiously eyeing a promotion place, attention turns away from the league to the Divisional Cup when they travel to the Moat to face Charing Reserves (10.30am)

Good luck to Nick Cook, partially recovered from his injuries, as he takes his small BGV Juniors to their tournament on Sunday morning. A big thank you to Damion Truelove for standing in during Nick’s incapacitation.

Eureka!
