Just received a message that there is no-one to open the Children’s Centre on Saturday. Gutted is not the word! However, Santa is still visiting the clubhouse between 3-5pm and there will be presents for all those with tickets. Ellen Gough will be doing her face painting. All those who have bought food, please bring along as planned. Ticket money will be refunded. Any monetary loss will have to be borne by the club. We can still make it fun for the kids and roll on when we have our own new facility! Apologies but don’t shoot the messenger! Clubhouse open all day and any help earlier for Lisa with the decorations will be appreciated.

Happy birthday Thursday to Vice President Mark Day and Veteran Jez Field!

Terrific show by the Under 9s last night in the murky MUGA and great to see the youngsters eating all that healthy food (well they did have grapes for dessert!) Many thanks to Damion Truelove who took the session. Thursday morning update: Saturday’s game at West Farleigh has been cancelled by the home team as they have ‘player and parent issues’. Don’t know what they mean! lol

Bromley Green FC Hats (£6) and Hoodies (£20) first come, first served for Xmas presents

New stocks in – great Christmas present – BGFC Hat £6 – please see Dave Homewood. When they’re gone, they’re gone!

  • Those that ordered our special Burger Sauce for Christmas – they are now in for collection at trade price of £2 (members only)
  • We extend a warm welcome to William Lines who will be joining our coaching staff after meeting Karen Barnes and myself last night. Will, working towards his Level 2 badge, is an experienced player although only 24 and can’t wait to get going with whatever role the Executive appoint him to. Injury curtailed his career but he is now fully focused on managing/coaching. He will be at the club on Sunday 9am for anyone that would like to meet and have a chat with him and then accompany the U12s to Monkton to get to know a few people. DH
  • PLEASE park sensibly this coming weekend – the verges are still full of ponds!
  • Shane Cowley is still waiting for confirmation of menu choice from one or two – can you please contact him via the email he sent out … thank you
