Into the weekend …

Assuming the weather doesn’t ruin things again, we have three real ‘local derbies’ this weekend – starting with the Saturday seniors at home to South Willesborough Reserves (2pm kick off). Sunday’s visitors to Waterside are Brett Ades and his Stanhope Rangers lads for what should be a cracking affair with both sides showing good form of late. Up at The Ridge, our Reserves meet old friends Singleton Barn in the last eight of the Divisional Cup. Folkestone United Reserves await the winners in the semis.

Plenty of youth action: please refer to the Events & Fixtures page

Please people stop texting me about whether games are on or off. As soon as any information is received, we will publish it. Every manager naturally wants their game to be on but consideration has to be in the long-term interests of all the teams in the club. As it stands, all home games are still on but it is raining again. The decision is solely down to Grant and Brian and their decision is final. Cheers DH

Focus on the Bromley Green Valiants

This Sunday our BG Valiants Adult groups are off to The Abbey School on tournament duty. Clubhouse open 8am for them to meet. Last Sunday the BG Valiants Juniors were up at Gillingham and Nick Cook sent us this summary and photos.

We had a brilliant visit to the tournament last Sunday with some great goalkeeping by Ryland and Harvey was solid in defence, well done boys . As for the under sixteens, Daniel was worked hard as a goalie for a while with Ruben taking on defensive duties till they decided to swap roles and they both worked hard to get some hard fought for goals.
