KDFL Tournament B team match report by David Spencer
After dropping a few points to our closest rivals Charlton at our last tournament we needed to play well today and increase our margin. The team felt confident as Graham was to participate in his first tournament this season and was eager to get on the score sheet.
Game 1 v Canterbury
We were quick off the mark with Graham scoring 2 quick goals. The remainder of this game saw us with most of the possession but we could not convert any further goals.
Match ended ended BG 2 – Canterbury 0
Game 2 v Charlton
This was a match that saw us face our closest rivals. We controlled the game well at the start and several near misses was finally rewarded with a goal by Tom.
Ashley made a crucial save during this match and Aaron manage his defence role well. We then confidently regained control of the game and Josh took a shot from distance the the keeper fumbled into his own net. Our confidence grew and resulted in a good goal from Graham.
Match ended BG 3 – Charlton 0
Game 3 v Anchorians
This match was filled with as double numbers near misses (more than we have ever had) We controlled the game at the start and during an attack unfortunately Cameron and Tom ran into one another and both fell to ground. Anchorians one and only chance whilst our defence was numbered the managed to find the back of our net. This was a real blow to our great form. Again we seem to have all possession but could not convert into goals. 3 mins before the end our perseverance paid off with Cameron finally finding the back of the net. Time beat us in the end snd the game concluded a score draw.
Match ended BG 1 – Anchorians 1
Game 4 v Maidstone
A slight shuffle of our formation seemed to work as Tom in his new striker role managed to put 2 goals away. Brilliant defending from Ryan and Aaron kept the threat away. Halfway through we substituted Cameron on being a sub seemed to focus his play and he managed to confidently power home 2 goals.
This was by far our best match of the day and ended our tournament on a high.
Match ended BG 4 – Maidstone 0
A good day overall and only conceding one goal during our four matches was fantastic. We managed to increase our lead over Charlton by 1 point. Well done to all the squad and we look forward to next months tournament.

Lewis Bags a hat trick on return
Bromley Green 4-0 South Willesborough Reserves
After a close-fought first half, the superior fitness of the Green shone through with the returning Lewis Bagshaw grabbing an opportunist treble in the local derby at Waterside on Saturday. The impressive Ryan Carter rounded off the scoring with youth producet Keiron Smith again catching the eye in between the sticks. Great to see Peter and Mads supporting and a mention for Dave Olsen who refereed well throughout. Next week the boys go to the Barrett Field to meet Rolvenden with a meet time of 12.30pm at the club.

Utilitas U12s match report from Timmy Russell
Today we played Hythe Town a team sitting 2 places above we had some key players out and had to play the game 1 player down 8v9, we started well and soon we created chances and against run of play we conceded, we came straight back out and soon we was equal with kris preston and charlie b combining well in the middle setting up matteo, the defence with harrison timmy and the outstanding kieron battled well clearing g everything and the midfield battled winning everything and we created corner after corner until eventually matteo made it 2,1half time hythe came back out strong and josh denied them every time, but a silly mistake hythe equalised we showed brilliant character a proper team performance in play and soon we got our reward with preston powering home 3,2, matteo struck again through a great team build up 4,2, hythe bought on fresh legs and got a soft goal back 4,3,josh pulled off another couple of fine saves harrison then played out from the back to timmy then to charlie into preston then to kris kieran picked it up played back to kris who sent matteo free 5,3 and we could of had more after similar teamwork final whistle 5,3 victory
