International Nurses Day today … no words should be necessary

Statement Tuesday night from our sponsors McDonalds

Reopening this week for delivery only

From 11am Wednesday, 15 pilot restaurants in the South East of England will offer delivery only as we seek to safely reopen our restaurants. We will have a £25 order cap as we adjust to smaller teams and social distancing in our kitchens. I want to reiterate the restaurants, Drive Thrus and their car parks remain closed, we will only be serving food via Uber Eats this week.

Birthday greetings Tuesday to Kris and Ilja

More Yesteryears photos

PICTURE 30: Marc Collins in his heyday. Marc is currently coaching with Alex Hebbes and the U8 Globals, keeping an eye on his son George! The picture with Chris is from the 1977 Cup Final at Essella Park on 20 March. I promised Tony Smith some snaps of Chris, himself and Kenny Milton and will keep looking so be patient Smudger please.

PICTURE 31: 1995 Good Friday Weald of Kent Charity Cup winners – who do you recognise?

PICTURE 32: Home to Whitstable OB in the Faversham Charity Cup 1979.12.29. In those days, we didn’t have extended Christmas breaks. This photo sees the lads that took us from winning the Ashford & District League into the old Kent Amateur League. We won Division Two in our first season and the rest, as they say, is history as we went on to eventually become the last-ever winners of the KAL top flight before it evolved into the Kent County League. Do you recognise the players? Email as usual for contact is dhomewood@yahoo.com. Answers later in the week.
