Match summary from Alex Potts [Under 10 Hurricanes]
David & I were so proud of all the team today as we came up against Mersham who are probably one of the best teams for our age group. In the afternoon sun, we may not have got the result we wanted but no worries, just good to be back playing football and seeing the boys enjoying the game again
Kind regards Alex
Saturday opening 9am … usual training for the U13 McDonalds at midday. Due to the covid situation, we will close by 2pm on Saturday.
For the activities within the club this weekend, please refer to the Events & Fixtures page

Our fantastic sponsors McDonalds are honouring only BGFC vouchers during the restrictions and I will be talking to managers about children that fulfil the criteria for recognition. They are (i) full attendance at training; (ii) completely up to date with set school work; and (iii) behaving and setting an example to peers and adults during lockdown. DH

- the Essex tournament that Alex Potts and the Hurricanes were due to take part in has sadly fallen victim to the virus and the restrictions
- another casualty is the planned Community sessions at Waterside hosted by Charlton Athletic – we remain confident that the partnership will flourish next year
- with knockdown imminent, it is vital that ALL seniors and juniors are now registered online via Lisa – please don’t leave it and ‘wait and see’
- reminder that from 1 August 2020, all standing orders are to be at the standard rate again please. No standing order = no play.
